What is the Imagi Playset?
The Imagi Playset is a 3D pop up town/city which provides the backdrop for imaginative play. Children can configure the sets in any way they want, creating their own worlds to make up stories and nurture their imaginations.
Each page of the books have inserts which pull out fully and slot together in any configuration a child would like. The artwork for every page will feature fun and colourful buildings like shops, houses, public buildings and a market square.
Where did the idea come from?
My two year old daughter Winnie and I used to play by popping up vinyl record sleeves and books alongside each other to create little towns. Winnie would go and get her teddies and put them in the spaces, bring them tea and put them to sleep.
I witnessed her beginning to use her imagination to play. And the idea was born. Much like the rugs many children have in their bedrooms, with a 2d town on (my brother and I used to spend ages pushing toy cars around on these rugs), these Playsets enable children to create a 3D town of their own, to give them a scene within which to build stories and narratives.
The features
The Imagi Playsets wouldn't look out of place on a book shelf or tucked away into a play corner. They are super easy to put out and put away. The product can be played with independently from adults, and children will spend hours making their own fun.
The Playsets are an environmentally friendly product, made from FSC certified materials. The products will be shipped from China to avoid high emission transport.
